Smoother Ride on 19" - Is It My Imagination?

Just curious really.

Change my wheels from Style 2 18" with Pirelli Scorpions to the 19" 7 spoke RR wheels with Scorpions. Done about 2k now on them, but since fitting them the whole ride seems smoother and quieter.

Is that just my imagination?

It should work the other way
The 19" have a lower sidewall which leads to lesser shock absorption
by the tyre and a harsher ride.

It should, but I had similar experience, finding 19s more comfortable. I suspect that having less bounce in the sidewall lets the air suspension do its job better?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
