It was some years ago that Rob Jones put one in his old D3.

I am looking at this system ATM Bose 4 woofers and 2 tweeters + the OEM amplifier.

On the assumption that the speakers will physically fit is this something you think it will provide a material improvement on the sound from the OEM CD400 (low line) system?
and one more question the output from the Disco OEM radio can be connected directly to the input of the bose amplifier I assume that the bose amplifier will be able to read the signals??? or do I need to convert the signal?
If this works it will be significantly cheaper than purchasing new everything
