Park brake fault need help please

I have got the yellow warning displayed on dash stating park brake fault. It won't function or engage/disengage. Big Cry

Borrowed a code reader and found fault code u0128 lost communication with parking brake control module

Would really appreciate any help with where to start, tried a search and seems like possibly a wiring issue? Or the actual module itself possibly water damaged? Where is the module?

Thanks I have cleared codes and it's coming straight back on each time.

Laughing mikey I know I know but it's all I can get . I don't know anyone who has anything better! This happened over Christmas hols when the wifey had the d3 up north for a few weeks so it's her fault

Is there anything I can try? blessed are the losers ,for they determine the winners

Did you manage to solve your EPB issues, if so what was the solution. I have got exactly the same problem. Joined Aug 2014. Disco 3 SE 54plate, Buckingham Blue, Cream leather.

do you happen to know where the issue was. I spent half of yesterday cleaning the plug/connector that goes into the actuator, but still no joy.
