Trailer Electrics MY16.5

I've recently (>3 months) bought a LR4 Landmark here in the US. I kept the Trailer Hitch received from my Lr3 but need to add trailer electrics.

Researching on Atlantic British et al it seems that there is a wiring kit for MY10-13 and MY14-15 but nothing for MY16 (or 16.5!). Does anyone have any ideas if the My15 version will work?

As far as I re call both looms will do the job, the difference with the later one which should fit MY16 is a different bracket fitment due to the revised back bumper.

I never bothered fitting it on my MY12 and caused no problems. D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Does this mean that the MY16 bumper is the same as MY14/15?

If i use the MY10-13 loom will I have issues fitting the female connector?

the actual wiring is exactly the same. Its just the later part number has an addition bracket to clip the plugs into behind the bumper - you dont need this.

A follow on question for you then if I may?

I can buy the part from Atlantic British here in the US (VPLAT0013ABP) at a good price but they've told me that it's not 'plug and go' and that I will have to get the car reprogrammed at a dealer. Outside of the parking distance control when reversing, is there anything else that I need to reprogram for?

I've struggled to find an Independent Garage in Fairfield County, CT and am keen to avoid a visit to the dealer if possible.

Configuration on car just stops proximity beepers sounding when trailer attached Thumbs Up

And deactivates the rear fog lamps on the car when trailer is attached so fogs only illuminate on trailer.
Oh and stops certain height changes from taking place automatically when some terrain response modes are selected and trailer is attached.
