Reversing cam no longer working sat nav input fault B1A0049
Hi. I'm running my sat nav in range rover mode and have a reversing cam fitted to one of the video inputs. It stopped working and I have today tested the inputs using a portable DVD player as an input source. I seem to be able to get no input on any of the 3 video inputs. I have ran the self diags in the hidden sat nav menu and get the following errors. Any ideas please ?
B1A0049 switch board 2 disconnected

Ps, i have had the sat nav apart and can see no loose connections. Im wondering if the first error is caused by the cut 4th wire to make it run in RR mode ?Club N.E.R.D's

Anyone ?, is it knackered or if anyone has theirs running in RR mode does it come up with the same error message during the self test ?Club N.E.R.D's

Quite a niche modification in itself but adding hard failures and fault codes designed for the pre-mod state means the forum is unlikely to have the answers without further investigation.
My suggestion is to revert to standard and then look at the fault codes; this way you have removed some of the variables and you can build back up from there.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Wise words from Robbie. Some modifications can be ignored when you have technical issues, however, when it comes to A/V stuff, reverting to the standard setup to confirm it is working OK first is the best adviceMy D3 Build Thread

I do not have a reverse cam set up yet. But I get the B1A0049 error from the self diagnostic test in RRS mode. I believe it's because of the cutting of the 4th wire.
