After a bit of admin hassles (probably because Kirsten left unexpectedly) I had battery management system, front protector plate and tow hitch fitted last week.
As you guys have mentioned previously, Karl (and Piet - the "boss boy") know their stuff. I really like the look of the front plate - looks like it is standard issue. I asked for a hella plug inside engine compartment for compressor (which I now keep permanently in between main battery box and coolant bottle - still unsure if I want to fit it permanently). A Brad Harrison on the tow hitch and another on a length of cable inside jack compartment. One normal plug on other side of loading bay. Now I can run freezers inside vehicle or in trailer and extended trips take along battery box with 105 a/h battery either inside vehicle or in trailer.
All this will be thoroughly tested next week in Moz - hope temp reaches 40 deg !!
I am now part of the "BRS support group" !

Karl was busy fitting carrier to a D3 while I was there - also mentioned the play that Baben has commented on and was busy attending to it.
Seems like he has another one for "pilot" fitment and then will be ready to roll-out.
