Self recovery winch in an emergency

You might want a bit of safety gear, but if you were in a pickle and had no other way out...

Came across this whilst browsing for something else. You do risk a smack on the head or under the chin though. You would need to be really desperate.

 There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.
