Disco 3 TV reception drop out

Ever since purchasing my 2009 HSE the tv tuner has suffered from audio drop out. The rear window element is damaged (dog scratches) and some of the lower area doesn't work. Would this be the cause? Discovery 4 HSE 2014 (Current)
Defender 90 TD5 - 2003 (Current)
Discovery 3 HSE 2009 (Previous)
Discovery 2 Landmark 2004, 2001, 2002 (Previous)
Discovery 1 300tdi 1996 & V8i 1995, 200tdi 1993 (previous)
Defender 110 300tdi 1993 (Previous)
Range Rover Vogue 4.6 - 2001 (Previous)
Freelanders TD4 (2001 3 door & 2002 5 door) Previous
Defender 90 2.5 then converted to V8i (1990) previous
Defender 90 2.25 then converted to v8 (1986)

Yep - pictures fine most of the time but the sound drops about every 10-20 seconds. Doesn't get used very often but is annoying all the same! Discovery 4 HSE 2014 (Current)

Sometimes mine is the same. Checked by LR dealer and no faults just a poor digital signal apparently.

Picture fine - audio dropouts. Other times it works 100% fine.
