Hi Matt
The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle on the OS just in front of the tank. You will need the gearbox undertray off and there is a guard / heatshield that needs to be removed.
LR service schedules state it should be changed every 2 years regardless of mileage.
Thanks
Brian

h well, true to LR engineering it would have to be in the most stupid place possible. I am surprised they didn't require engine removal...

Is a little rich coming from a French man and their design of cars

Designed and built by Ford and it is a brilliant engine no doubt but the maintenance team can't have been contacted until afterwards. Bit like the 300D in the Disco2 - changing the head was easy except for one bolt which could not be removed without MAJOR effort because the body blocked for some unknown reason.
Love the car but I would have put all the filters under the bonnet - no reason why not.

I agree. Not only is it in a stupid place for access but prepare to get half a gallon of diesel in your eyes/coat/hair/girlfriend's parents house weeks later as it is above you.
