My discovery 3 2007 has started developing an issue where the suspension at the front will just rise itself, no warning light or anything, I just like stop at traffic lights and the suspension will rise at the front only and I’m not sure at all why as no errors come up.

Normally, stopping at traffic light requires using the foot brake which causes the nose to go down. It will then come back up as a normal function. If you think something is wrong upfront, then park on a level ground and wait a few hours and see if front lowers.

Hello, is this a new thing? Have you had the car for a while?
When I first got my D4 we would pull up and stop somewhere, and whilst sitting in the car at idle it would suddenly lift the nose up then drop it back down. It was quite a pronounced movement and a bit disconcerting at first. it has always done it and I think it is just settling its ride height
It may be a different problem that you have, just thought this may be a useful reference for you Discovery 4 3.0 HSE 2010 year. I like it a lot. Now with winch 😂

My guess is you’ve all got faulty front sensors, in 14 years of D3 ownership mine has never done it, front end lowering on braking should be virtually none existent on a D3 with self levelling suspension, that’s why it’s called self levelling.
If the front end lowers to the bump stops it may think it’s grounded and then lift to off road or super extended mode.
After stopping the car will self level to the level of the lowest sensor, not by lifting. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Mine did it and was caused by a faulty front sensor. The mechanism was "tight" so was slow to return and bending / unbending the drop arm

Mine has done this since being new, if I brake hard to a stop after a few seconds the front will level up or down depending on the road surface.

The deciding factor here seems to be “hard” braking, as it’s something I only do in an emergency it comes down to driving style It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
