Radio & Nav Panic Attack
So my 56 plate SE had a panic attack the other day which i brushed off as just typical Land Rover antics.
I was cruising along at 40mph when i was suddenly displayed with every fault and light imaginable on my dashboard, sat nav screen turned into something from poltergeist and my radio started emitting a high pitched screech (im not suggesting my car was possessed, but im pretty sure i could hear voices). Sat nav returned to normal, lights disappeared but radio was knackered until i could pull over and turn the engine over again to reset it.
Ive since had nothing for a few days until today when i got in, the radio volume has been dipping in and out, but no warning lights or nav issues. Probably totally unrelated but my brake light is now out...

I suspect a few might have had them re-posessed.

My radio has done the same. no dash lights though. It seemed to happen after I had started the car and stopped it a second or so later beacause I forgot something. Came back a minute later and started it and I had the same thing from the radio - static and a screeching sound. It didn't go away until the car had sat overnight. Been alright since then. Also, very occasionally, the sat nav used to replace a road number with static! So the nice lady would announce "take the A34 etc" and A34 would be replaced by a nasty screech. It's been OK since I fitted the D4 sat nav.
I have since had the car exorcised.

Take the A34? Ours won't recognise this road (the Winchester to Oxford part) when planning a route, wants to take the M25.
