What a great Forum !!!
I had a new alternator fitted and a service by Woody32 great job and hoped that it was the failing alternator that was causing the alarm to go off at random ,but sadly it did not cure it !!! ,darling wife Googles D3 alarm going off and Google sends her to guess were Yep back here she read the post about cleaning that contacts on the bonnet catch WD40 in hand cleaned the contacts all done in 5 minutes good as new now thanks D3 UK your the TOPSLand Rover 90 - deceased

I replacing my bonnet switch cured a mountain of evil Including alarm weirds etc.
