upper glove box hinge fault |
|
please can anybody help with advice on removal of upper glove box lid/door
right hand side hinge pin is either broke or dislodged
I think I need to remove door/lid to fix it.

If you need to remove it completely there's the two spring clips to pop out and then push the hinge pins out as well, but the door is also attached to the damping mechanism on the right hand side which will break if forced. PM me your email address and I can send you the 'how to' manual I did for removal of some of the dashboard which I think would help.

Having a similar problem withe the lower glove box, but broke the hinge pins, so would any one know the part number of those pins used in the lower glove box, so I can chase them up.

Anyone got this how to guide? I have removed the H trim and passenger air vent but cant seem to find how to remove the upper glove box door without just pulling it off and breaking it... D3 54plate TDV6 SE Java Black
