Sat Nav Diagnostics
Hey Guys
I went into the configurations menu on the sat nav via the password 753 and would be keen to know what the following features are that are not fitted on my car.
1) TMC RECEIVER
2) INTERCOM
3) DYNAMIC PROGRAM
4) VICS
5) PARKING AID DISPLAY
6) IBOC
7) FBH
8) PROXIMITY CAMERA
9) COMPANION CAMERA
Also, if you know whether these can be activated to give me any additional features that would be handy

HI,
I think they are as follows:
1. Traffic management channel
2. ? (maybe police vehicles or armoured ones??)
3. ?
4. VICS (Vehicle information and communication system) antenna amplifier (to do with TMC)
5. The line on the reversing camera (none, Basic or moving (I think)
6. In Band On Channel receiver (no idea what it is though!)
7. (UK only) Fuel Burner Heater
8.
9. it was an accessory on the FFRR not available on Discovery.regards

Thanks Peter.
Question, parking aid display. Mine has the lines but not bendy ones, I've seen a brochure for my model d4 and it shows bendy lines existed at the time. Any idea how I would upgrade it?

I think you only get the bendy lines when you have surround cameras fitted.Cheers Ian

Hi ,was wandering if anyone knows how to get in the diagnostics menu on a 2012 discovery 4 he's lux ,all other links and videos don't show the same screen as mine ,where the secret button is and code ect ,thanks

Ive only got the rear camera and got bendy lines.
Unless I haven't found the others yet Last of the D4 HSE...

I think bendy lines came in as standard without surround cameras from MY14. Pre MY14 were only when surround cameras were fitted D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
