Failed MOT- Lower suspension arms |
|
Hi,
2010 D4 is at 65,000 miles now and failed MOT today with lower suspension arms. TVLR wanted £900 but saw the Superpro kit on AF site for £345 with the polybushes. Going to get a mate to fit them- does anyone have the "how to instructions" and does anyone rate the Superpro kit over the lemforder as there is a £67 difference?
Ive started to have a bit of smoke on start up but not everytime - so they advised secondary turbo drain modification - £242. Looked the LR TSB and its a £40 part- Anyone done this on here?
Cheers

I have fitted these from AF and they seem to have worked. I did the work myself with the help of my dad. Would recommend these arms.

Went for the lemforder kit in the end after speaking to AF and getting a discount and its like a new car! Also got the secondary turbo drain from stratstone (£80 ouch) for a little pipe and blanking plate.
So £360 on parts and a mate who is audi technician charged me £140 labour to fit the lot so £500 all in. Off for wheel alignment now with the £650 saving I made from the Land Rover estimate.
