MY16.5 charge through 13pin tow electric?

I bought from this website of 13pin electrics charging adapter and using the Ctek charger, all worked fine with my MY12 D4. But my new MY16.5 cannot charge through 13pin socket. All caravan electrics works fine when it connect to my D4.
I am wondering if there is anything different because of MY16 has stop/start function?
Please advise,thank you all.

The charge works through the permanent live feed from the Discovery to the trailer. Many modern vans do not use this feed, so you might not see it by using the caravan as a tester. AFAIK it exists on D4 but is run through a fuse. First step would be to use a tester to check if there is power coming out of the 13-pin socket, and if not look up the handbook and check the fuse.

I never though to check when I got a D4 but as this is an essential in an emergency I'll be out having a try tomorrow! A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

If it helps have just changed from my12 to my16 with adaptor from site on ctek charger into factory fitted 13 pin electrics and works fine. Also had MY11 with 13 pin and that worked fine with a dual battery setup D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
D4 HSE MY12 Marmais Teal: Gone. Missed a lot!
Freelander 2 SD HSE MY11 Silver:Thankfully gone.
D4 HSE MY11 Silver: Gone missed !
Range Rover Sport MY06 HSE Buck Blue: Gone missed!
Discovery D2 TD5 Facelift MY Red Gone Missed!
Discovery D2 TD5 Cobalt Blue: Gone Missed!
Discovery D1 Auto Oxford Blue Not missed at all!
Discovery D1 Avalon Blue First LR! missed!

Now demoted to a VW

Thanks for your advise.
I have checked the voltage with multimeter and the pin 9 worked nicely.but when I test the earth ground, pin3,11 without problem! But I found the pin13 has high resistance which means bad earth. Is there something wrong with my connection and this could cause the charging issue? Thanks again.
