It connects automatically and the streaming quality is superb, however it doesn't let me go up & down tracks using the steering wheel controls. Anyone managed to get them working? Not the end of the world but would be useful to have.

Got something very similar plugged into my Bose docking station at home.
Wasn't aware you could use them in the car. How and where does it plug in?

I did look at that but it plugs into the 3.5mm socket, which the ACM replaced. It was £5 less than that price. The i-DOCK just plugs into the ACM cable that would plug into the phone.
The tune2AirWMA100 widget looks nice but a bit rich for my blood. I have to get it past The Boss first. Mouse before anyone asks.

Del - I bought one of those a while back - great piece of kit and does all I want but there's no way (that I've found) of controlling the tracks via the steering wheel buttons - bit of a PITA....
I've had its sister device plugged into my Sound Dock for over a year and am impressed with that as well.I see no ships........

Sorry Del, I didn't think to mention I couldn't control mine through the steering wheel.
My phone is clipped to my vent and I just select the tracks on the phone or through voice 'OK Google' or 'Siri'

It fits onto the cable if the ipod kit that connects to the old iphone, 30 pin connector
