Who uses this?
Is it any good?
How easy is it to use?
I've been offered the software/maps for PC/PDA but I need some feedback from users before I buy it.
TIA

Very good IMO but you will still neeed to spend time marking out the byways etc and doing the research to check restrictions etc. Once done it is a great tool when used with GPS to ensure you stick to the correct routes. I run it on my PC then send sections of maps etc to a PDA for in-car use. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I use it, and its good. Like CFB says, remember its only as good as an OS map. The plus point is that it shows you exactly where you are, and where you have been. You can also use it for plotting routes beforehand, and it saves you writing all over your paper maps.
Local knowledge and verification still applies.

I bought it a few weeks ago and have been really happy with it. The only this it lacks is map orientation in the direction of travel, whilst in tracking mode.

You can import byway info from Way-Finder into MMap - which in theory gives you up to date RoW info - but as already said - no substitute for checking with the RoW officer. Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Hi,
You can import the rights of way from Wayfinder into Memory map as overlays.
It is still sensible to check with the Council's rights of way dept to ensure that you are legal.
Have fun!
