Hello again Land Rover Insurance *Updated*
After 13 years of being everything I wanted from an insurer specifically for Land Rover vehicles .... LRI let themselves down today by flatly refusing any off road cover of any kind this despite me clarifying similar in previous years.
From a corporate perspective this is nuts ....they sell you a vehicle with emphasis on its go anywhere capability..... but their own insurers don't want to cover you for it.
Anyway .....hello Adrian Flux 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Did you try NFU? Re LRIns, sounds like when I kicked them into touch over remaps. They swore they didn't cover remapped cars, swore they never had done inspite of me paying extra for remap as a mod a couple of years before. Changed to NFU, never looked back.

You think that is bad, Land Rover sold be a brand new vehicle back in 2004 and after settling all the finance side of things I phoned LR insurance for a quote sorry sir we can't insure you as you are only 21 years old.
I was like eh I have just bought the vehicle and you were happy to sell me it but now you are saying you won't insure me at all to dive it.
Crazy

You live in Surrey, a most green and pleasant shire. They cover me just down the road but took out cover when I lived in the sticks.

LR insurance is, or was when I last checked, underwritten by Allianz. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole for motor insurance. Two close friends have had shocking claim experiences with them.
I should state that these policies were not via LR.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

Nope. Like the warranties, they just pay to use the LR name.
