Is Garmin Topo worth having?

I use a Garmin GPSMAp 60CSx, and use Memorymap on a laptop when on manoevres. As it's a bit of a faff getting the laptop out I wondered where it would be worth buying Garmin Topo for the GPS. I've heard that it's a load of pants as it doesn't have a lot of footpaths, bridal paths and UCRs on due to licensing issues.
Has anyone used Garmin Topo? Is it worth getting?

I have them for SA and even on the 276 all they do is clutter the screen . Also because you are looking at such a small area you don't really get much of an idea of the terrain. Work a bit better on mapsource , but if I'm going to fire up the laptop I prefer my maps on Ozi Explorer
