Clock spring for heated steering wheel
I have a 2013 HSE, I have just got a heated steering wheel for it, and have ordered the compatible clock Spring from LR, as mine does not have plug for heated steering wheel on it, my question is, how will I get power to the clock Spring, if it's not got power to it ?
The fuse is in the fuse box already, number 20, 10 amp,

Mine had the connector wrapped in foam and tucked away under the steering column - have a look

I would double check that you haven't already got the heated clock spring on a 13my, word has it they only supply one type of clock spring now and it had got facility for heated. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thanks for the replays all, I had looked and mine didn't have heated clock Spring, so ordered one and it came yesterday, I set about it late yesterday evening and thank god mine had the loom wrapped up in foam, so I popped all the bits into place and like magic we had warm hands, and a much nicer feeling steering wheel.

Nice one
Can I ask you a few questions?
Did your wheel need enabling in the CCF
which type of ecu did it have - the later one (2013+) or older one
Did the heated wheel switch pack you used have a raised horn symbol?
Thanks

Hi GVW.
Wheel didn't need enabLing, if the fuse is in the fuse box position 20, 10amp it will already be enabled.
Mine had the later type ecu.
The switches are non raised, and work fine with my later type ecu.
Hope this helps

That's interesting and I wasn't expecting that as the new type ECU has a LIN bus connection to it
Perhaps the CCF needs enabling when the new style raised switch pack is fitted
Oh well you got it working and that's all that matters
