Giving up. Car been in 9 times. Dealer agrees that it does not perform as my D4 before (2012 model) but LR says it works with "design parameters).

My MY16 has this, thought it was me, the 2016MY courtesy car I had last month had it too.

Sometimes it needs to be set to 24-25 degrees, thought I was getting the flu and had that cold feeling at first

Everyone seems to appreciate that there is an issue, apart from LR themselves.
I suppose with the new D5 coming along, they dont want the hassle of fixing it and dont want to acknowledge they have an issue as it could open the floodgates and so they hope that by doing nothing, the problem will go away.
Well, they have succeeded , I am so fed up with getting no resolutions, I am giving up Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Just finished my first longish trip in the new car. Air con seems fine at first but then starts blowing cold air unless I up the temp to 25 degrees. Might have something to do with the windshield interior surface temp being a toasty 520 degrees C (according to my IIDTool).

wow! Shocked Out of interest, was it overcast or sunny? Not that I'd expect 520-degrees even if it was sunny.
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I have checked my external temperature against another car and it is fine. I do, however, believe I have the cabin heating issue, whereby cold air will start blowing into the cabin after some time.

Does anyone have a copy of the Bulletin that covers this HVAC fault , LTB00963, or at least the VIN range affected?

Thanks in advance
 Gary

The LTB00963 affects the following Vin range 699716 - 828071.

Thanks to Del for passing that on to me yesterday.

I also received a copy of the LTB from him as well - and armed with that, I phoned my dealer yesterday and the Disco is now booked in for Monday next week, with the order being put in place for the 'part' (a little foam block) in case it is needed.

If you PM me (or Del - forum member DSL), then I'm sure then LTB will be with you soon.

I had the issue with outside temp but got the two fixes applied and that now seems OK.

Mine is a MY16

The issue I have ( and its still there) is that although it initially blows warm after a couple of minutes and seems to fill the cabin on Auto after about 10 mins it then just diverts it to the floor, I have to take it off Auto and select the cabin ( face / dash) setting manual

My previous MY13 never did this.
 D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

Interesting, I too end up with hot feet. Mine is MY16 and both fixes have been applied.

Anyone else?
