Cruise Control lost!

Well to add to my woes, HSE has lost its cruise control altogether. There was a 5 second alarm buzzer in the mornig but nothing on the display. Nothing seems to reset it now. If LR had been near the car I would have wondered if they had decided that the ruise control wasn't working properly & that they were therefore removing the feature to get rid of the problem!! Getting cynical ??

I keep getting random suspension errors again that seem to clear after an engine re-start.

Love computers eh ?

I'm going to wait for LR to resolve the o/s other issues I have & they can tackle this at the same time. It reminds me of early office computers & the technicians maintaining them - we got so sick of them not knowing the product that we ran them off & have done our maintenance in-house ever since!! Very Happy

Half way through Thursday it started working again all of its own accord. I can only asume the cruise control is electronic(?) and that this is another electronic issue. Probably better not tell LR it's faulty - they will just suggest that it's not meant to be there in the first place & that they will delete it from the software!! Wink Wink

Yeah, I'd guess it is controlled by some kind of ECU - the Td5's cruise control is on the engine ECU but I have no idea where the cruise control is 'based' on the D3 - I wonder if LR know Wink

Please see my post on the park brake fault. It could be linked to corrosion in the cable harness. Especially if the message is about ride height.
