Electronic hand brake sticking |
|
Today I tried to reverse off my drive way but the car was not moving so I put in drive and yet again no good. Eventually I put in reverse and increased the reverse and then heard a loud bang and its seems that the electronics brake released.
Not sure if I have damaged anything but is a sticking electronic brake a know problem?

It's not unknown in a D4.
Usually the first time it happens you should be fine, if it happens again then you'll probably need to get it checked. If you've got a flashing red handbrake warning light on the dashboard it's indicating the EPB has moved to the reset position and will need to be reset by a Dealer or other competent person.
