2014 D4 oil change
To change engine oil, is there some memory, within the vehicle, that has to be considered.
If i carry out oil change, with everything turned off, how do i stand

Yes, the oil change service indicator will need to be reset with a suitable diagnostic tool. The D4 monitors fluid level increasing as well as decreasing as a means of assessing oil quality and dilution.

It only infers the quality of the oil from algorithms that take into account usage, driving style and change of oil volume. If you don't tell it that you have changed the oil it will be confused.
