Random photos selected in thred upload
Every time I select a picture to do a thred upload .. It uploads something completely different!
Any one else have issues ( iPhone 6 )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Is it selecting the wrong photo from your camera roll, or giving you the totally wrong image from your gallery (one that's already there) or someone else's photo?06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I select the picture from my camera roll .. But it uploads a totally random one to the pictures at the bottom of my post ..
I will post a picture of my dog to see if it actually puts the correct one on the post ( as an example)

Getting the same, recently (yesterday) uploaded pics show as pics that were uploaded ages ago.

The site cannot access your camera roll by itself, you have to choose the photo you want to upload and that photo is sent to the site.
So there's no way the site can pick another photo at random from your camera roll.
HOWEVER...
What it might be doing is finding a previous photo that is already in the gallery and that is in your camera roll. So it's picking something random from your gallery rather than the camera roll.
From what I can find this is affecting screenshots/captures etc which are in PNG format, and not JPEG images (your dog photo is a JPEG).
I will hold my hands up and say that I have made some changes behind the scenes, these have been made to compress PNG files as they take up a massive amount of storage space compared to JPEG images.
Looks like there is some kind of bug with that system which is not giving back the correct image, so I will investigate and report back.

The 3 pics I'm trying to upload are screen shots .. And looking at the ones it's replacing them with have been posted on the forum before
Weirdly a few months back 2 pictures on a post changed for 2 other pictures !!
I just deleted them and reposted .. Didn't think much of it at the timeG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I loaded up a screen print from a similar thread yesterday (dissapearing avatar) and once done this was showing as a latest file uploaded. From memory this was a pic uploaded a long time ago. Similarly the previous attempt at loading up the screen pic came up with a pic downloaded last summer, or before. Procedure worked fine but result was random.
Saying that, downloaded a few pics of the stove at Ice Fest about an hour ago and all is well, they show up what they should. Voodoo trickery at work on t'interweb.

Iv just tryed a few more uploads .. And yes .jpg uploads correct .. .png picks a random pictureG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
