Whats it worth ?

Popped into Yeovil Land Rover today and had a test drive in a nice D4 XS 8speed 2013 16k miles we then started to look at the money side of thing I have a 2008 XS with 160k miles in the dealers words like new fitted brand new T/C last year FSH new tyres all round he made a P/X offer that after rolling around on the floor for 10 minutes I made my excuse's and left .I fully understand the car game and for me its all about the price to change but what is a realistic price for my old girl please? his asking price 36,495 Land Rover 90 - deceased Sad

Sorry, no idea. BUT you maybe be surprised by a webuyanycar quote. Completely different car and age, but the quote from the annoyingly catchy tune website was a almost a couple of grand more than a dealer trade in I had been offered.
If nothing else, may put his offer into some form of perspective. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

I'd say the asking price of the D4 was £4k high, even for a main dealer. Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

Thanks guys I had not had the time see were he car stood in the market price wise I did slap a bid of £32k cash on his desk as I walked out of the showroom
Lazer Tam I did the We Buy Any Car test £800 more than the stealer offered
I do feel my car should make around £8000 at the very least but perhaps I kidding myself Big Cry Land Rover 90 - deceased Sad

In September WBAC gave me over £10K for a 2008MY (very late 2007 reg) SE Auto
this was including a three panel scrape down the side which stripped about £800 off the offer price
Only had 66K on the clock though Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
