can you blow up the suspention on a dead disco?
i have a d3 with a seized engine .when its quiet i tow it into the garage at work to remove the engine (with the body on)
im a hgv mechanic and we dont have any 2 or 4 post ramps just inspection pits
were it parks outside the towbar digs into the rough ground,can i raise the suspention in any way?
i know how to do this on a wagon but i dont see any way on a disco to do it,plus it would be handy to work on it.

Yes - power can be applied to run the compressor and a suitable diagnostic tool can be used to open the valves.

If you can remove the compressor cover the power plug is to the front of the compressor, if you pull the plug out you can apply 12v to it, whilst this will pressurise the system I don't know if it will raise it, it all depends on what state the rest of the car is in and if the suspension has dropped or been set in access mode, might be easier to take the towbar off once you get it inside.It can when others can't,

Easier to apply power via the relay in the BJB rather than crawling underneath. With an IID Tool you can take full control of the suspension, down to individual valves. If the system can hold air and the valves work you can lift the vehicle to your desired height.

Robbies suggestion is the way to go, I have done this method a few times myself, just short out the big connections after removing the suspension relay, and then use a dignostic tool to control the valves.

I think its 4mm od pipe to the bags themselves, you have a box of pushfits so you know what you can do if all else fails

I cant remember if the disco can be towed as it might not work the oil pump in the gearbox .something for you to look up
