Got a text I'd rather not of got this morning.
My partner (who uses the car daily for commuting) text to say that the engine light had come on.
No reported loss of power or smoke, she said that everything seemed fine and that the car drove normally.
2007 TDV6 with around 130K miles.
Does anybody know anywhere in the Southampton area who may be able to have a look at fault codes on Saturday or anybody local able to help out.?
Should any garage with diagnostic equipment be able to read the codes or would they need to be Land Rover specific.?

Yes, West 4x4 have been recommended and I called him last week about can belt and he genuinely in a nice guy.
Is just his location is slightly awkward for us to get the car to.. New D3 Owner.. every day it starts is a bonus but any bongs or beeps are heart-stopping.

I'm actually only about 1/2 mile from Brooklan 4x4.
I'll be passing them this afternoon so I'll pop in and see what they can do. New D3 Owner.. every day it starts is a bonus but any bongs or beeps are heart-stopping.

I've not used them for servicing so can't comment.
I have looked at used LRs there, and their stock is (generally) nice, but very expensive IMHO.
I presume that similarly their servicing might be good but expensive.

That's very kind Doz and Woolmeister.
I did speak to Brooklyn 4x4 toay and the cost is £60 for an hour of diagnostics which I assume to be about right.?
The funny thing is though, when my partner left work today the light has gone off..
I assume the fault would be logged though so would be nice to see what the problem was and would be good to know what may be playing up.
If you're around the weekend Doz would be nice if you could read the code(s) if possible
