Which to go for ...

Looking to buy Disco, my budget is a bit in between a 3 or a 4 Rolling Eyes

Am I better going for a nice low mile 3 (80k ish) or a high mile 4 (140k ish)

Think after reading reviews I would like a 4, but high miles does worry me a bit Big Cry

I was the same, so went for (I hope) a very good, clean D3. Everyone tells you they can do the miles, but then you read about things failing (such as torque converters) with milage. Low milage and proof of money spent is where my money went.

D4. Thumbs Up LR finally got their Censored into gear and finally sorted out a lot of the cr@p bits they fitted in the D3. No brainer if it were me. Thumbs Up

Lower mileage D3 for me. D4's still demanding too much money to spend that sort of cash on a car with that sort of mileage in my opinion. I would imagine resale would take a massive hit also assuming the car would have probably covered over 200k miles.
