Heater goes cool!

Hi, after about 30mins of driving I have noticed that the cabin heater output on my '65 plate car progressively gets cooler. Last night I had to have the temp setting set to 'max' to maintain a comfortable temp in the car. Before I contemplate a trip to the dealers, does anyone know of a fix/reset for the heater?
