Diesel Heater Question

I've read a few threads about these and wondered if it's possible to eyeball this heater to see if I actually have one? There's no settings on the screen but I understand that could be sorted via diagnostic tools. So does anyone know exactly where it would be, and what it looks like. Any pics would be appreciated too.

Not got a photo but have a look under the bonnet. If you have something with Wabasto written on it that's it. On the D3 it's just in front of the battery. Also if it's cold enough for the snowflake to appear on the dash it will kick in and you can see the exhaust smoke coming out from under the front passenger side.

Ah, so I do have one then. What does it actually do if I can't use it to warm up the cabin?

It warms the engine coolant a lot quicker so in turn your cabin heater will warm up a lot faster making it a lot cosier than not having it Thumbs Up
