Looking to fit my expo rack to my D4 - as part of the trade in on my D3 I kept the Expo rack, but the new car does not have roof rails.
I'm away for the hols but after a brief search I have seen an inexpensive set of used D3 full length rails on eBay. Will they work?
Thinking of cutting down the rack to just the base for a slimline look. Not sure yet.

BTW drove from SLC to Vegas yesterday, snow was dumping as we left and the roads were pretty rough, but the new motor handled it like a champ. I loved the old girl (D3) but it was a tractor in comparison to the D4.

Yes, Expo rack can be fitted on the full length rails, but will need a new mounting plate/bolt in place of the original mounting 'leg'. I only fitted it briefly to transport to new owner.
