Test Drove D4 - Orange Triangle on Dash - any thoughts?
Hello!
Just test drove an LR4 - I'm considering my options as my LR3 seems to be getting a bit spendy on the maintenance side. Rather liked it, I must say.
All seemed well - but there was an orange triangle warning light on the dash, in addition to a low tyre pressure warning. Went into the menu's and all I could see was check tyre pressure - is is a duplicative warning, or maybe something else?
Thanks! Anything else I need to look out for?
Cheers!'80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

Just means that one of the tyres is low in pressure ...I wouldn't let that alone to detract me from the motor.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I think (going on the old grey matter memory now here as it's wet and cold outside) that when you get a warning message, you also get a red triangle. When you clear the message from the dash screen, the orange triangle remains to remind you that there is still a warning there for you to address.
For example, if there's a door open, you'll get a message and triangle. You can clear the message but the triangle remains until you close the door.
So the thing to do with this car is blow up the tyres and see whether the dreaded triangle disappears.
Cheers both of you - will be asking the dealer to blow up the tires to double check '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

If I go ahead and buy it I'll be asking for the secrets of towbar removal - it has one but no key '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

As JLR are now saying the tow bar should be removed when not in use due to the issues with the rear cross member they should ensure it comes with a key and is removable MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

Do JLR have the same removal requirement for the Class 4 receivers in US as we do in the UK for the 50mm detachable ?

I tried but he was firm on price - it was a cracking price anyway and I got a pretty good trade in.
I'll post some pics tomorrow - I'm staying off the internet as much as I can until after I see Star Wars tomorrow '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!
