thinking of D4....

guys any thoughts would be of great interest . I have a D3 MY08, 136 k , no issues but i think getting nosier as she gets older !

looking at a D4 MY15. Given that the Disco 5 is due out later 2016 / early 2017 will prices for D4's come down. My thoughts are should i wait for the D4 price drop !!

D5 will be very different vehicle and so far nothing is confirmed solid about it

Go for D4 as it is closest to what this car represents and offers D5 might be a bit different

14MY / 15MY is facelift and stop start, 16MY saw the introduction of add blue (urea) which although supposedly good for the environment can only be bad for MPG as your paying to lug around what 10 litres of Censored ?!

14MY/15MY would be where I would put my money, although I would have to think long and hard whether the facelift was worth having to live with stop start Whistle

Oh and as regards D5, as has already been said.... with D5 already being touted as being a bit of a different animal I would think the impact of the new model on D4 prices will be minimal.

The D4 has been over 10 years in the making with constant modification and refinement.

my thoughts are MY 15 pre Urea ! however pretty sure will get hit with some form of emission tax ... whatever i do will probably be wrong but you only live once !
