So... one of my front headlights has blown and I wanted to take it out to make sure I get the right replacement. However muppet over here can't get the bulb out!!!
Had a look at a few videos on the old tube but still can't get it out
Below is a pic of where I'm stuck and any help would be greatly appreciated...

I had this problem too when I got my xenon units and replaced the halogen bulbs with nightbreakers. I've attached a pic highlighting the two tabs if you gently depress them in with a small flat bladed screwdriver you can gently lift the bulb out that side, thus freeing it from the other tab. To replace simpler push in and feel both tabs click. If it pull out easily just bend the tabs out slightly.

The only videos I could find on YouTube had a spring clip arrangement like on a halogen dip beam bulb.
My turn for a stupid question: when you reconnect this bulb does it matter which way round the connector goes?

Thanks for that, I saw those two pins but was worried about bending them and the light not going back in. Also only video i could find was the one with the spring clip.
Can I ask where you got your nightbreakers?
Re- the connector, nit sure if it makes a difference but I just put mine back same way it came offMissplaced African

Yeah when I went to change it I looked at YouTube found nothing and was like, well how hard can it be to change a bulb.
I got mine from Hids4u
Yeah I couldn't remember which way it came off, But I put it on and it's all working, they're excellent as well. Love my new xenon & nightbreaker combo. Well worth it!Now with: Tow bar & storage, Xenon's, Remote Timed Climate, Mood Lighting, Cubby Fridge, DRL's & Mud Flaps
