Bigger wheels/rims on the HSE? 20"

I`m using my 19" that came with the TDV6 HSE as winter rims with
Goodyear Ultra Grip 255/55R19 tiers.

I would like to have 20" as summer rims!
Has anybody done this and or have pictrures of it?
I know that Kahn and overfinch has 22" on the Disco 3.
In Norway 22" tires are few and cost about £450 pr. tire!
So 20" I think is nice and I like the overfince and RR sport rims have
the right design!

Please advice

Why would you want to do this? I am trying to do the opposite. I want the 17" rims for off road use.

Hey JZK
I would like the best road handling possible and I don`t like the 19" rims
that it came with!

I have now bought some 20" crome rims with Pirelli Scorpio Zero Asymetrico
295/45/20 tires
The pirelli`s are pure summer tires and have a V marking 240 Km/h.

They have not yet been fitted to my car, but i will poste a pictures in my gallery as soon as possible after they have been fitted.

20"wheels

Have a look in my gallery on this site, ekuiken.
I am running 295/45x20's on BMW X-5 (sorry but they suit the Disco better than the BMW).

jzk, I'm with you, more rubber and more grip. The D3 is a 4x4 H&L range gearbox utility vehicle, not a racing car. Problem here is that we can only get the Coopers. I have STT's with Armor Walls which I just got for 17" wheels. For what I want in Europe they will be fine if a little noisy on roads. They are 80% off road and 20% on road.

Fittings was a little difficult as the LR wheels have anti run out rims in the wheels to avoid losing a tyre, so 112psi was required to fit them over the safety rim. Don't want to lose a tyre on a 2.7 tonne vehicle. I will try running them at 30 to 36 psi and see how I get on.
