I need to replace the expansion tank on my D4. my indie has ordered me a new one, however what has arrived has the return pipe on the right hand side of the bottle, whereas the existing bottle has it on the left side of the bottle. they have spoken to landrover who are adamant that it is the right part. I have checked on AF website which also shows the return pipe on the right hand side.
I have attached pics of the new and old bottle. can anybody advise what I am missing here please

Your new one looks like my D3 one, certainly the bleed nipple is in the same place, so I would assume its the wrong bottle?

I don't have a Land Rover, but just looking at the photo's it doesn't look correct; maybe it's for other markets and not UKExperience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

That's the correct part number, but is the wrong bottle in the box
I ordered a genuine, and an aftermarket one to check over (as its a third of the price of genuine) but it turns out it's actually for an L322 My D3 Build Thread
