FBH / Auxilary heater problem IID code

Hello,

I suspected that my Fuel burner heater or Auxilary heater did not run the other day (it is -5C here now so it should run). I did a check with my IID tool and it came up with 2 problems.

First that about 10 days ago something was wrong with the voltage for the heater. Then I did a diagnos to test Fuel priming and Check operation in IID tool. And it says "Operation failed E 7" - I have no idea what that means.

See screenshots of the problems.

Does anyone have an idea?

It is a D4 2012 SDV6.

Thanks

The heater will not operate if fuel and/or battery are low, looks to me like you have both.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Hi,

I was running low on fuel a week ago but when I did this check today it was about 1/2 tank. Did not refill it to full after the low on fuel warning though. Does that make a difference?

And for the battery goes I did not notice that I was low on voltage. Can I see it somewhere? It states 12v in the IID interface, it that it?

Thanks!

I had the same fault come up briefly after fitting a remote module today, but before I attempted to prime the FBH. After clearing faults and having some lunch went back and plugged the IID in again and the FBH Prime and Operation Check worked fine. No idea why though....sorry Sad
