Repairing 2012MY key fob - cosmetic
As you can see from the attched photo, the rubbery front of the fob has come adrift from the fob itself. What glue should I use to reunite the two? Will superglue stick rubbery plastic to hard plastic? Airfix glue? I'm just not sure what to use as it has to be runny to make a good unobtrusive repair and all the stuff that's good at plastic and rubber tend to be gungy!

My spare key does exactly the same. Still need to follow up with LR, but from my perspective this is a maintenance plan fix they can do. 8)2012 LR Discovery SDV6 SE

Mine is the same. Peeling away just like the photo. I have a fee little niggly things to get sorted before the warranty expires.

That surprised me with my last Land Rover. I managed to get the entire key casing replaced under warranty because the front became unstuck, but then the dealer told me that the replacement cases were dirt cheap anyway! The result looked so much better than simply gluing it back together.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

One of mine went the same way. I tried the superglue thing and it didn't really work very well. When the car went in for a service, they just changed it for me. They said it would cost £20 normally but they didn't charge me. Likely did it under warranty as they did a few other things as well under the warranty. But at least you know that it's a £20 job - and you don't get to say that often with a Land Rover!
