D4 window switches on D3

I am putting D4 door cards on the D3. The only problem is the window switches are different. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the D4 electric windows please? If anybody has successfully done this or has a good workaround?

Watching this closely as I have a set of door cards from a D4 too that I want to fit, to match my D4 seats (well, front cushions and leather on my D3 electric frames and full rear D4 seats).

Have you got the door pulls to work? I was just going to swap the switch blocks and get some upholsterer or other to put a small finishing piece. The main difference is the drivers switch block from memory.

The thread should have been "D4 window switches on D3" but anyway, thank you naks, i found the wiring diagram and the D4 use a separate control module for each window switch. The easiest solution would be yours Dave, stick a surround trim on the D3 switches. There are chrome surrounds available for the D4 switches, something like that to make the D3 switch the same size as the D4 switch would do. Is there any company in the uk that makes these sort of things?

Got 3 of the switches sorted. Removed the button from D3 switch, made the hole bigger with a small file and hot glued it in place. Happy with the result, looks original. Now just need to figure out how to do the drivers switch.

Good afternoon! How did you make the block buttons on the driver's side?

I don't have any other pictures. I used a small file and very gently filed the back of the D4 switch hole back and a little at each side. And filed the bottom of the finger hole forward so the button fits in. Underneath there is a screw hole where the D4 button screw goes. I twisted this off with a pliers so the D3 button fits in.

The lock/unlock buttons work aswell. 3 wires to connect to the centre console lock/unlock switch.

On the door switch, (pin 1) goes to (pin 4 pink/red) on centre console. (Pin 2) goes to (pin 10 yellow/pink) and (Pin 5) is an earth wire (pin 15 black) or any black earth wire nearby Thumbs Up

Just the bloody drivers window switch to sort out now Big Cry

Thank you Irwin for the answer!
Irwin, only three wires? Lighting buttons lock / unlock the door also work?
About the connect buttons from the discovery 4, we have, by one master, was able to get to work on the buttons from discovery 4 on the passenger door. It remains only to deal with the driver's door. For this I had to buy a window motor from a discovery 4 and the wiring on the door from the discovery 4. We have applied to the unit of comfort that is located in the middle of the door card voltage activated K - bus. Rear door, window regulator earned! Work on. As something, write.

For light on the lock buttons a wire goes to pin 4. Can be taken from small red wire on the window switch. Same with the mood lighting on the door handles.

Thank you Thumbs Up . And You understand what we've got to get to work original button from discovery 4, no alterations? Now working, above the driver's buttons. It's all in the unit of comfort in the door lining, and through him all can be made to work.
