Discovery Graphite
Had a test drive today in a D4 SE tech.
So, as has been discussed, turns out that I can no longer actually order one!!
Spec wise the graphite actually works out better for me as the keyless entry and rear camera is included.
However, the graphite colour grille and vents and bonnet badging, does not do any favours for it when combined with the corris grey that I was going to spec, the whole thing is poxy grey!! the grille in its previous colours was excellent!
So now I either have to look at a different colour so that there is contrast... or suck it up? all for the sake of a bit of exterior trim colour that they could have made an 'special option'?!

Bonnet badging, side vents, front grille all easily changed either to silver or a lovely black pack.
Got my grilled and badges from Beanie on here for a very competitive price and bought a grille from eBay for £110 which I'm getting sprayed gloss black.
Wheels in gloss black powder coated is about £250MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

I did think this about getting the grilles and vents after etc, I was worried about messing about with the bonnet badging on a brand new car tho!
Afraid I couldnt justify the extra 1k for the other grey. Might have to look at a silver, or the blue...
Decisions, Decisions.
Also, there is no longer a wheel choice on the graphite...

I hope you manage to work a solution to the obstacles that LR have presented us with!
Don't worry about removing badges, I've done it many times and it's easy and done properly, it leaves no mark at all.
Look on the bright side, at least the Graphite comes with some nice colours. Loire Blue is a great choice 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

Been looking around the forum on the colour front, some interesting threads re corris and loire. tricky one!
Never though about the loire before so maybe another trip to the dealer to have a look in the flesh.
The loire might be more prone to showing scratches / mud than the corris when used for work.

Loire is nice. Seems to be holding up well to dirt and grime.
Just after I picked it up

Love my Loire and anyway Land Rovers look better with a bit of mud.Displaced Yorkshireman.
