Many thanks Tambo for speedy and excellent work - much appreciated. It really helps knowing someone has taken a quick look at stuff before buying it remotely.
Plan is for Disco_Mikey to collect, I hope; if not, Big Dave's couriers will be calling.....
all the best, and a beer or two on me sometime.....

quick bump on this thread: Tambo is holding 4 wheels and attached tyres for me, and whilst I'm in no rush to get them, he's probably in more of one to be shot of them.....
if anyone can help get them to the Midlands (TF9) that would be appreciated. As I said, no rush at all so if they meander down in slow steps that's fine with me.....
thanks
Russell.

I'm just in the process of having a machine shipped on a pallet from Ayrshire, Ayrshire does come under mainland pricing but even with £500 insurance it was only £72 all in on an economy 2-3 day service. I would have done more than double that in diesel collecting it and been driving for 10-12hrs.
I used pallet2ship, without the insurance it would be £50+vat delivered to my door IID PRO

If these are still in Aberdeen on the afternoon of the 23 and morning of the 24th I will be around Inverurie, Bridge of Don then down the A90 A9 M74 M6 all the way home, planning to be home Friday night. If we can work something out around the M6 Staffs area it would help me.

washwipe - many thanks. Unfortunately I'll be away then so can't meet you, but if there's anyone nearby who can hold them for me until I get back that could work really well.....?

I'm away this Friday for a week but the wheels can still be picked up as someone will be in.
Or I can leave them at work in Aberdeen.
Happy to keep them here as long as required.

I can still collect Thursday but Xcentric is away, unless Xcentric wants them taken further South or another member can meet around the M6 Staffs area Friday evening.

either is good for me - if someone can hold them closer, then great, but Tambo is being fantastic at storing them for the mo..... (and yes, am away.....)

Aylesbury is good if possible but only if they can stay there for a bit until either I or another person can move them from there to Telford/Stafford/Birmingham area......
(If tricky, let's leave them with Tambo as it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem and I can always get big dave to courier them.)
thanks, all.....
