E On dash board when ignition turned on!!

Hi Guys, looking for any assistance I have searched the forum for the E on dash.

Replaced
XY sensor - no change
replace transmission harness no change, recalibrate XY sensor after both.


My next thought is maybe the transfer box ECU unless anyway has any other bright ideas.

Check the fuses in the engine bay. I had the same cost me 200 pounds plus the cost of a fuse.

sorry I can't remember exactly but it may have been related to the ecu's. Have a good luck at all of them in the fuse box.

no problem, given me a place to start. I hope i haven't changed the Loom and Sensor for nothing Laughing

Getting the transfer box recalibrated sorted mine.... Thumbs Up "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold,sadly,thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

Check the connections on the 4x4 unit behind the battery for corrosion as well.

recalibrate the transfer box - still present.

checked the transfer box behind the battery no corrosion on pins.

can't find a fuse related to transmission in engine compartment as mine is a manual.


I am thinking the only solution to this is a new transfer box ecu.


Unless you have any other ideas.

You can also try to disconnect the capasitor on the right side of the gearbox (not sure its on a manuel):

I just disconnected it and the car started. I used the car until I got a new one with it disconnected.

Thanks I will check Fuse 30 not sure it will have it being a manual but will check. Other option is the brake bulbs try that before a new ecu Vehicles
