PDC problem/stopped working

Recently my rear PDC stopped working, the PDC light flashes and gives a single, long 'peep' when put in revers.

What could be the cause? Is there any way to find out 'the easy way' or do I need to visit the dealer?

I do not have a diagnostic tool other than the BAS remap interface.

Most likely a sensor has failed
Available on the BAY rears are 'straight' fit not 'bent'
Outer ones can be reached just
Unfortunately bumper has to come off to access inboard ones
Sometimes you can work out which is faulty by ignition on and in reverse, listen for click as you pass hand across
I just swapped all 4....

Inboards can be done with bumper on as well.

It's awkward, but I managed it.
