Torq Tune now available in Gauteng |
|
I am pleased to announce the arrival of the TorqTune system in Gauteng!
I will have some road-test results & video available very soon.
Would have been this weekend if I had my D3 available (but that's another sad story)
PM me for our "opening specials" - bear in mind we can customise the tune for your requirements, whether they be pure performance, fuel economy, or towing.
For thise of you with other turbodiesels - speak to me. We do a lot more than just disco's
Other regions, watch this space - we should have CT covered in the very near future, and can accomodate you in the interim with a bit of logistical planning.[/b]

Any chance of getting them to look at the reprogrammming of the ride height speed ?

Heine - heard from some mates in Ct who work on LR's that Autologic is currently looking at this issue and "may" be able to come up with a solution - would involve loading new software via testbook AFAIK - will keep you posted as I am on their case in this regard.

Actually, yes we are looking into this (the guys with the brains, at least) and as soon as we have confirmation of what is possible will get back to you. So far it looks like the hardware to do the job is very expensive though, so it may well work out to be too expensive to roll out.

Hardware ?
I was led to believe that it was a software function that could (hopefully) be modified

Yes Heine it is a software function, but you can't enable it with the normal TorqTune hardware (or any other engine tuning hardware as far as I know) hence you have to acquire additional tools and the expertise to use them. 10Forcash knows a lot more, maybe he can help with some info?

Autologic are looking at the issue of suspension heights vs. vehicle speed BUT it is not an easy issue to resolve as there are numerous sensors, inputs and outputs to and from the ecu and bcu involving the suspension settings.
The solution is a long way off
