Any ideas and advise greatly appreciated. 4.4 V8 2007 LR3 (yes, Canada, eh)
1. CEL - light comes on and off, sometimes stays on and needs to be reset. Code is P0420 - Cat Efficiency below threshold. We're thinking downstream O2 sensor(s).
2. Yesterday while driving to work, out of the blue, bells and a dashboard of Christmas lights. The LR3 didn't stop running. I pulled over, turned it off, turned it back on, all lights but CEL went off, continued on my way. Drove home last night and back this morning without issue. Main code read was High Speed Can Communication Bus, missing a message. My tech is leaning towards an instrument cluster issue. He's had a few with circuit boards crapping out. He's leaving me as the guinea pig to keep driving until it happens again and then check the codes. Anyone with instrument cluster issues out there.
