HDC / Parking Brake / Transmission / Tree / Now Won't Start

Hi,

Just fitted 20 shiny new non swollen nuts and went to move the car back...

HDC Fault
Parking Brake Fault
Transmission Fault
Christmas Tree Lights
Yellow Triangle with circle and !

Now wont turn over at all.

Replacement gearbox a thousand miles ago or so...

Under Basic Warranty Direct Cover....

05 SE Auto - 117k

Have had a search through previous topics but have no idea where to start... Thoughts.

Thanks

Dooda

Battery (&/or Alternator) low voltage usually triggers all the warning messages and lights Shocked

Thanks. Will stick it on charge now. Is it worth trying to get fault codes read too?

yes but it may look worrying as it'll show loads of lost comms fault codes due to low voltage Shocked

is the battery LR branded or has it been replaced before do you know?, if its LR the date of manufacture is stamped into the top of the Negative pole as month/year Thumbs Up might help sway a replacment if its the original, mine lasted 7 years + before I replaced it but it would have lasted longer as it turned out it was the alternator all along Whistle

Battery charged. Turned over fine with no faults showing. Took him for a run and was showing 14.9v across the battery when idling.

Presume new battery is the best option.

And as a way of thanks can I recommend this - was the best pork and crackling ever for dinner
