Central locking problem

Afternoon all.

My first post, amazing site

So I bought my first disco 3 just a few mouths ago, 2004 se. No problem until yesterday some thing strange happen.
When unlocking her it only unlocked the driver door.
You can hear it trying to do it but it just can't. The tail gate opens fine, but when opening the lower part of the tail gate, it un locks but slowly, as if there is not enough power some how.
Can any one help please

Welcome, Mine takes two presses to unlock all doors, you can change this in the setting.

Tailgate sounds like a tired actuator.

Does it work fine when held close to the car?
Could be dying remote battery

Might be time to dig out the multi meter and do some fault finding.
