DSC light and new tyres

Had a pair of new rear tyres fitted yesterday also had 4 wheel alignment done.
On the return journey the DSC light kept coming on though bends, I was driving steadily!
There is certainly more tread on the rear tyres now than the front - could this be the cause?
Or does the steering alignment sensor need recalibrating? If so how do you that?
Or something else??

Thanks

First thing I'd do is check tyre pressures

I suspect that it just needs steering angle sensor calibrating. Does it do it More when you turn in one direction than the other?

Do also check that they have fitted two of the same size tyres. Wouldn't be the first time a 55 and a 60 or 50 profile with otherwise identical size markings has ended up on the same axle.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Pressures checked - seem ok.
Yes it does seem to be around right hand bends.
Is the steering sensor something I can re-set or does it need to 'go in!'

Cheers

Do check the tyre profiles. I once had a 55/18 fitted on one side, with an otherwise identical 60/18 fitted on the other and had similar problems. I know it sounds like a wind up, but it does happen.

Would damage to a wheel shower sensor also lead to these symptoms? Worth checking.
